US Ambassador meets new aviation ministers to boost aviation sector
The high-level discussion focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the United States, with a particular emphasis on collaboration in the aviation sector
US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T Christensen has paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam (Rita) and State Minister Md Rashiduzzaman Millat at their secretariat office in the capital on Tuesday.
The high-level discussion focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the United States, with a particular emphasis on collaboration in the aviation sector, says a press release.
The ministers expressed their desire for further cooperation from the US in the development of Bangladesh’s aviation industry.

Ambassador Christensen said that the US is committed to continued partnership, the government with full cooperation is looking forward to advance the aviation sector's growth.
Both sides recognized the potential for stronger ties and agreed to explore new avenues for mutual benefit in the coming years.
