CAAB to hold aviation master planning workshop

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) will hold the inaugural session of a workshop titled "Civil Aviation Master Planning Overview Workshop" on Sunday, 21 June 2026.

The event will take place at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka and is scheduled to begin at 8:45am, according to an official invitation issued by CAAB's Public Relations Division.

The Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister will attend the ceremony as the chief guest, while the state minister and the ministry's secretary will be present as special guests.

The workshop aims to provide an overview of the country's long-term strategic planning for the civil aviation sector.

Muhammad Kawsar Mahmud, assistant director of public relations at CAAB, confirmed the details of the event and said representatives from various media organisations have been invited to cover the inaugural session.
