Turkish Airlines has once again secured the top spot for in-flight dining, winning the prestigious 2026 APEX Best Food & Beverage in Europe award for the fifth time, the official website of the airlines publishes.
The accolade, announced during the annual APEX awards ceremony, solidifies the flag carrier’s reputation as a leader in culinary excellence at 30,000 feet.
The 2026 APEX awards are uniquely determined through unbiased, anonymous, and verified passenger feedback, collected in partnership with TripIt® by Concur®, one of the world’s leading travel planning applications. During the evaluation period, passengers rated over one million flights operated by more than 600 airlines globally across five categories: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, in-flight entertainment, and Wi-Fi.
Commenting on the achievement, Turkish Airlines Chief Executive Officer Ahmet Olmuştur expressed deep pride in the recognition. “We are very glad to be recognised by APEX as the Best Food & Beverage airline in Europe for the fifth time,” he said. “This award speaks to the passion and craftsmanship our teams pour into every meal we serve above the clouds, starting from menu design to the moment it reaches our guests.”
APEX Group CEO Dr Joe Leader lauded the airline for transforming a routine part of travel into a cultural experience. “As an APEX World Class airline, Turkish Airlines continues to prove that airline scale and aviation soul can ascend together,” Dr Leader stated. “From its acclaimed culinary programme to the warmth of its service rituals, Turkish Airlines brings the richness of Türkiye to the world with every course.”
Turkish Airlines continues to elevate its guest experience by blending Turkish hospitality with authenticity and variety.
