Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a meeting with AirAsia Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bo Lingam to discuss potential investment opportunities in Bangladesh's aviation sector.

The courtesy call took place at 3:10pm local time on Monday at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, according to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) press wing.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for investment and cooperation in Bangladesh's aviation industry.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday for a two-day official visit.

After concluding his visit to Malaysia, he departed for Dalian, a city in China, on Monday afternoon and arrived there at 11:05pm local time.
