Apex Footwear Ltd. has taken another significant stride toward sustainable manufacturing by achieving the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) certification for its Unit-2 facility by a third-party body under the global non-profit Textile Exchange.

The certification highlights the company’s dedication to responsible production as a leading footwear brand at home and abroad.

The RCS certification is a voluntary international standard that mandates third-party verification of recycled input and chain of custody. Following a rigorous audit, Apex successfully demonstrated the exact percentage of recycled content in its products. This ensures full traceability and strict quality control for all recycled materials used in its production process, including recycled EVA, rubber, PU, and PVC.
This latest milestone comes just one year after the company earned the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification in 2025, reinforcing Apex Footwear’s position as a pioneer in eco-conscious manufacturing.

Apex management stated that the dual certifications reflect the company’s long-term vision of reducing environmental impact while maintaining global quality standards. “These certifications are not just badges, they represent our transparent and verifiable commitment to a greener future,” a spokesperson said.

With both RCS and GRS in place, Apex Footwear continues to set benchmarks for the industry, proving that growth and sustainability can go hand in hand.
