Tarique attends luncheon hosted by Anwar

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday attended a luncheon hosted by his Malaysian counterpart, Anwar Ibrahim, during his official visit to Malaysia.
The luncheon was held at Anwar Ibrahim's official residence in Putrajaya at around 1:30pm local time.
The prime minister was accompanied by his wife, Zubaida Rahman.
A cultural programme was organised on the occasion, featuring performances by Malaysian artistes. School students also performed a dance to the song 'Prothom Bangladesh Amar, Shesh Bangladesh'.
The two prime ministers and their spouses enjoyed the cultural performances.
After the programme, Tarique Rahman and Zubaida Rahman were welcomed by Malaysian children holding the national flags of Bangladesh and Malaysia as they exited the residence. The prime minister and his wife exchanged greetings with the children.
Anwar Ibrahim and his wife later accompanied the Bangladesh prime minister and his wife to the main gate of the residence and bid them farewell.
From there, Tarique Rahman and Zubaida Rahman travelled by motorcade to the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in Malaysia on Sunday for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The trip marks his first overseas visit since assuming office.
