Md Mamunur Rahman, founder and chief executive officer of EXPOPRO (Center for Business Development and Communications), has been elected as the joint secretary general of the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the 2026–2027 term, says a press release.

According to the release sent to media by Center for Business Development and Communications, this distinguished election marks a significant milestone in Rahman’s longstanding contribution to trade and investment promotion, both in home and abroad.

With more than three decades of experience in IT, development communication, and trade facilitation, he has consistently led efforts to strengthen bilateral and multilateral business relations.

As Joint Secretary General of BMCCI, Rahman will play a pivotal role in advancing the Chamber’s mission to enhance trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Malaysia. His election reflects the confidence and trust placed in his leadership by the business community and fellow Chamber members.

After being elected, Rahman expressed gratitude to the members of BMCCI for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to working collaboratively with the newly elected Board of Directors. He emphasised the importance of fostering stronger business linkages, facilitating market access, and promoting investment opportunities to drive sustainable economic growth between the two nations.
