A three-day tourism fair aimed at promoting travel and tourism services will begin in Dhaka next month, bringing together airlines, travel agencies and hospitality brands from home and abroad.
The event, titled Air Astra Dhaka Travel Mart 2026, will be held from April 9 to 11 at the Grand Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, according to a Facebook post of travel and tourism news portal and periodical The Bangladesh Monitor.
Organised by The Bangladesh Monitor, the fair marks the 21st edition of the country’s longest-running tourism exhibition.
Organisers said the three-day event will feature participation from leading airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, resorts and other tourism service providers offering a range of travel-related products and services.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore various travel destinations and take advantage of special discounts on airline tickets, holiday packages and hotel bookings available exclusively during the fair.
Entry to the fair will be open to the public with a fee of Tk 50, which will include a raffle coupon.
Organisers said visitors will have the chance to win airline tickets and other travel-related prizes through raffle draws scheduled during the event, with the main draw to be held on the final day.
Those who complete online registration ahead of the event will receive an additional free raffle ticket and will also be eligible to participate in separate daily draws during the fair.
Dhaka Travel Mart has long served as a key platform for promoting the tourism industry in Bangladesh, connecting travellers with airlines and tourism businesses while showcasing new destinations and travel opportunities.
