The Ministry of Religious Affairs has released the official roadmap for Hajj 2027 (Hijri 1448), instructing prospective pilgrims to complete their registration by September 26, 2026.

According to a notification issued by the ministry's Hajj-1 Branch, the roadmap was announced by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah during a ceremony held in Jeddah on May 29 and subsequently shared with religious affairs ministers from participating countries.

Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain attended the event as an invited guest. During the ceremony, Saudi Assistant Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr Al Hassan bin Yahya Al Manakhrah formally handed over the Hajj roadmap to the Bangladeshi minister.

Under the schedule, the bilateral Hajj agreement between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia is set to be signed on November 8, 2026.
The issuance of Hajj visas will begin on January 28, 2027, while Hajj flight operations are scheduled to commence on April 8, 2027. The holy

Hajj is expected to take place on May 15, 2027 (9 Zilhaj), subject to moon sighting.

The ministry said the transfer of Saudi-side expenses to the e-wallet of the Masar Nusuk platform will continue from July 15 to December 24, 2026.

The process of signing contracts for key service packages—including tents, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, catering and transportation through the Masar Nusuk platform will begin on July 29, 2026 and continue until January 23, 2027.

Pilgrims' information must be uploaded to the Masar Nusuk system between August 14, 2026 to January 28, 2027.

Meanwhile, agreements with designated airlines for transporting Hajj pilgrims and the completion of related documentation in the Masar Nusuk system will be carried out from July 29 to November 8, 2026.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs urged all stakeholders, including Hajj agencies and prospective pilgrims, to complete all necessary procedures within the stipulated timeframe to ensure smooth Hajj operations in 2027.
