Saudi Arabia orders Bangladeshi visa overstayers to leave by April 18
Overstayers are required to book flights and travel directly to the airport before the deadline to exit Saudi Arabia without facing fines or penalties
Saudi authorities have instructed Bangladeshi nationals overstaying their visas to leave the country by April 18, warning of legal consequences for non-compliance.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh issued the alert on its verified Facebook page, targeting those holding visit, Umrah, or final exit visas whose validity expired on February 25 but who have yet to depart.
According to the embassy, overstayers are required to book flights and travel directly to the airport before the deadline to exit Saudi Arabia without facing fines or penalties.
The notice makes clear that the directive applies strictly to those who have exceeded their visa validity, adding that Saudi authorities will not grant extensions or waive penalties beyond the specified date.
Officials described the move as a temporary opportunity for expatriates to leave the country in a safe and lawful manner.
Bangladeshi nationals have been urged to act promptly to avoid legal complications.
