Private airline Air Astra has increased the number of flights between Dhaka and the tourist destination of Cox's Bazar, making air travel between the two cities easier and more convenient. In response to growing passenger demand, the airline is now operating regular flights on the route.

Air Astra is currently providing passenger services on the Dhaka–Cox's Bazar route. The revised flight schedule has been introduced to better serve both tourists and business travellers.
