Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View has introduced a fusion of Subcontinental, Middle Eastern and Persian cuisine, along with popular local dishes, for Ramadan.

Throughout the holy month, the hotel’s signature dining outlet, Xchange, will host a special Iftar-cum-Dinner buffet each evening, featuring a wide range of traditional and contemporary favourites.

Among the signature dishes are Chicken Afghani Kebab, Nawabi Chicken Tangri Kebab, Mutton Tehari, Lahori Fried Fish Cutlet, Turkish Lamb Adana Kebab and Shahi Mutton Haleem.

The dessert selection includes Egyptian Umm Ali, Mughal Bakarkhani, Arabian Basbousa, Kunafa, Pistachio Baklava, Shahi Barfi, Syrian Balah El Sham and ghee-fried Saffron Reshmi Jilapi.

Cardholders of selected banks can enjoy a ‘Pay 1 Eat 4’ (Buy 1 Get 3) offer. Participating banks include BRAC Bank, Mutual Trust Bank, Dutch-Bangla Bank, City Bank, NRB Bank, United Commercial Bank, Trust Bank, Eastern Bank, Meghna Bank, Dhaka Bank, Bank Asia and NCC Bank.

In addition, selected diners will receive prizes through a raffle draw, including complimentary stays at Radisson properties.

The hotel has also set up an ‘Iftar Bazar’ takeaway corner in its lobby, offering premium Iftar boxes daily from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. The boxes are designed for groups of two to eight people and are available in four packages named Wahid (One), Itnaan (Two), Talata (Three) and Arba’a (Four). Free delivery is available within a five-kilometre radius for orders above Tk 10,000.

For corporate, family and social gatherings, the hotel offers two pillarless grand ballrooms — Mezbaan and Mohona — as well as two medium-sized halls and eight meeting rooms. The hotel says it provides modern facilities, ample parking, a secure environment and separate prayer arrangements for men and women, making it a suitable venue for large-scale Iftar events in the port city.
