'Incredible Weddings Festival' opens in InterContinental Dhaka

InterContinental Dhaka unveiled the inaugural 'Sensation Presents Incredible Weddings Festival,' powered by Mutual Trust Bank PLC, on Friday (July 31), at the hotel’s Ruposhi Bangla Grand Ballroom & Winter Garden. The two-day celebration, July 31-August 1, offers complimentary entry to all visitors from 11:00am to 10:00pm.
This unique festival brings together the country’s leading wedding and lifestyle brands under one roof, providing couples and families with a comprehensive wedding planning experience. The event showcases exclusive wedding packages from InterContinental Dhaka, along with bridal and groom fashion from renowned designers including Sarah Karim Couture, Zurhem, and Fiero.
Visitors can explore exquisite jewellery collections by Amisheè, honeymoon packages from Firsttrip, bespoke photography services by Dream Weaver, beauty consultations by Persona Hair & Beauty, and luxury automobiles from Mercedes-Benz Bangladesh through Rancon Motors.
The festival features an exciting lineup of entertainment, including cultural performances, a glamorous fashion show by Azra Mahmood Talent Camp, soulful Qawwali performances by Zaleo, and a raffle draw offering a Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka couple air ticket among other attractive prizes. Sensation will also provide free pre-marital medical consultations with specialist doctors.
Adding to the celebration, Elements Global Dining will host a wedding-themed dinner from July 29 to August 1, serving traditional delicacies including mutton kacchi biryani, chicken roast, and assorted kebabs. Selected partner bank cardholders can enjoy a 'Buy 1 Get 3' dining offer.
The festival was officially unveiled at a press conference attended by Mohammad Mozammal Hoque, Company Secretary of Bangladesh Services Ltd; Olivier Loreaux, Director of Food & Beverage at InterContinental Dhaka; Md. Shafquat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank PLC; and representatives from participating brands.
