'Nepal Festival' in Dhaka on May 15
The festival will take place at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s National Theatre Hall and is expected to showcase Nepal’s rich cultural and culinary heritage

The Embassy of Nepal in Bangladesh is set to organise a colourful “Nepal Festival” in Dhaka on May 15, featuring traditional Nepali food and cultural performances.
The festival will take place at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s National Theatre Hall and is expected to showcase Nepal’s rich cultural and culinary heritage, says a press release.
According to the embassy release, the event will include a Food Fest from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and a Cultural Program from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The invitation was extended by Ambassador Ghanshyam Bhandari, who is expected to host diplomats, cultural personalities, journalists, and invited guests at the event.
The embassy said the festival aims to promote cultural exchange and strengthen people-to-people ties between Bangladesh and Nepal through music, dance, and traditional cuisine.
Participants have been requested to confirm their attendance through the embassy’s designated contact channels ahead of the event.
