CAAB to inaugurate air traffic management centre at HSIA tomorrow

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) will formally inaugurate its Air Traffic Management Centre (ATMC) at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka tomorrow (Monday), says a press release.

CAAB said the inauguration ceremony will take place at 10:00am on April 20, 2026, at the newly established facility located within the airport premises.

Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Afroz Khanam is expected to attend the event as chief guest, while State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat will also be present, the release added.

The launch of the air traffic management centre is part of ongoing efforts to modernise aviation infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency as Bangladesh seeks to accommodate growing passenger and aircraft movements.
