3-day int’l tourism fair in Dhaka underway

More than 50 organisations from Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Vietnam, China, and host Bangladesh are taking part in the fair, showcasing their products and services across 10 pavilions and over 80 booths

The 21st edition of the international tourism fair, Air Astra Dhaka Travel Mart 2026, got underway at the Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on April 10.

The three-day event is organised by travel trade publication The Bangladesh Monitor, with Air Astra as the title sponsor, according to local media reports.

More than 50 organisations from Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Vietnam, China, and host Bangladesh are taking part in the fair, showcasing their products and services across 10 pavilions and over 80 booths. Participants include national tourism organisations, airlines, travel agencies, hotels and resorts, tour operators, financial institutions, medical service providers, and other stakeholders in the travel and tourism industry.

Visitors can avail themselves of attractive discounts on domestic and international air tickets, tour packages, hotel and resort accommodation, medical tourism services, and other travel-related offerings.

The event is further supported by US-Bangla Airlines, Mutual Trust Bank PLC, Sabre Corporation, and Buy Tickets as partner organisations.

The fair is open to visitors daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm until April 11, with entry tickets priced at BDT 50.

Visitors will also have the chance to win exciting prizes through raffle draws using their entry tickets. Prizes include return air tickets to domestic and international destinations, complimentary stays at hotels and resorts both at home and abroad, as well as lunch and dinner vouchers at leading star hotels in the country.
