Flydubai to Launch Double-Daily Bangkok Flights from September 2026
The flydubai, a government-owned airline based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has announced the launch of double-daily flights between Dubai and Bangkok, starting 15 September 2026, marking a significant expansion of its Southeast Asia network.
The new service will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), increasing flydubai’s total weekly flights between Dubai and Thailand to 28.
Airline officials said the additional frequencies are aimed at meeting growing demand for travel between the Gulf and Thailand, a key leisure and business destination in Asia. The expanded schedule is expected to enhance connectivity for passengers travelling from the GCC, Europe, and other international markets via Dubai’s aviation hub.
Bangkok remains one of Asia’s most visited cities, attracting millions of international tourists annually. Industry analysts say the increased capacity will provide greater flexibility for travellers while supporting Thailand’s tourism-driven economy, including hospitality, transport, and related services.
The move comes amid a broader recovery in global travel, with airlines increasing capacity across high-demand leisure corridors. flydubai noted that the expansion aligns with its strategy to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global transit hub while promoting sustainable aviation through the use of fuel-efficient aircraft.
The enhanced connectivity is expected to further stimulate two-way tourism and business exchanges between the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
