Rail return tickets for Eid trippers from Thursday
Passengers will be able to buy advance return trip tickets for May 31 on May 21, for June 1 on May 22, for June 2 on May 23, for June 3 on May 24 and for June 4 on May 25

Advance return train tickets for Eid-ul-Adha travel will go on sale from Thursday, May 21, according to Bangladesh Railway.
The decision was taken at a Bangladesh Railway meeting held on April 30 as part of preparations for the upcoming Eid holiday travel rush.
Under the schedule announced by the railway authorities, passengers will be able to purchase advance return tickets for May 31 journeys on May 21, June 1 tickets on May 22, June 2 tickets on May 23, June 3 tickets on May 24, and June 4 tickets on May 25.
Earlier, Bangladesh Railway began selling advance Eid journey tickets on May 13. Tickets for May 23 travel were sold on the first day, followed by May 24 tickets on May 14, May 25 tickets on May 15, May 26 tickets on May 16, and May 27 tickets on May 17.
Railway officials said the advance ticketing system has been introduced to ease passenger pressure and ensure smoother travel during the Eid-ul-Azha holiday season.
