Oman Air will operate non-stop daily flights between Dhaka and Muscat from May 1. The Muscat-based carrier currently operates five weekly flights on the route, says a press release.

According to the Oman Air release sent to media on April 21, the Dhaka-bound flight, WY317, will depart Muscat at 08:25 and arrive in Dhaka at 15:10, while the return flight, WY318, will leave Dhaka at 16:00 and reach Muscat at 18:50. All times are local.

Oman Air said that on selected days it will deploy its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering passengers 30 luxurious business class and 258 spacious economy class seats in a comfortable two-class cabin layout.

Passengers will also benefit from seamless onward connections to key European destinations, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Rome, Milan, Zurich, Istanbul, Moscow and Copenhagen via Muscat. The airline currently connects travellers to 44 destinations across Europe, the GCC, Asia and Africa.

Oman Air’s inflight entertainment system, ARIA, will be available on all flights, offering a wide range of international films, TV series, music and games.

Business class travellers will receive complimentary lounge access in Muscat, while eligible economy class passengers may access the Primeclass Departure Lounge.

Frequent flyers can further enhance their travel experience by enrolling in the airline’s loyalty programme, Sindbad, which is also linked to the oneworld alliance partner network. The programme allows members to earn and redeem miles across a wide network, enjoy exclusive privileges and unlock tier-based benefits.

In addition to passenger travel, Oman Air continues to play a key role in supporting regional trade through its belly-hold cargo capacity. The airline offers up to 1.5 tonnes of capacity on narrow-body aircraft and up to 14 tonnes on wide-body jets.
