A training aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force made an emergency landing at an airbase in Jashore on Monday due to a mechanical gli, says a press release.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) release, the incident occurred at around 12:46pm when the aircraft experienced a technical problem during flight.

The pilot safely landed the training aircraft on the runway following the malfunction, the statement said.

Authorities confirmed that the pilot remained unharmed and the aircraft did not suffer any damage.
