TOAB, Nepal envoy discuss tourism cooperation
The TOAB delegation discussed opportunities to enhance collaboration in travel and tourism, connectivity and cooperation between tourism industry stakeholders in Bangladesh and Nepal
A delegation of the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) met Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari on September 14 at the Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka to discuss ways to strengthen tourism cooperation between the two countries.
During the courtesy meeting, the delegation discussed opportunities to enhance collaboration in travel and tourism, connectivity and cooperation between tourism industry stakeholders in Bangladesh and Nepal, according to a TOAB statement sent to media on Tuesday.
The TOAB delegation also invited Ambassador Bhandari to attend the 14th Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2026, organised by the association.
The delegation said BTTF 2026 could provide a platform for promoting regional tourism cooperation and creating business and networking opportunities among tourism stakeholders.
TOAB expressed hope that the Nepalese Embassy would extend its support and that the ambassador would attend the upcoming tourism fair.
The meeting was part of TOAB’s efforts to deepen engagement with Nepal and promote greater cooperation in the regional tourism sector.
