Fire breaks out at CAAB office in Dhaka
The fire originated on the second floor of the CAAB office, but the cause of the fire could not be known immediately
A fire broke out on the second floor of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) office in the capital’s airport area on Monday afternoon.
Fire Service officials said two units were working at the scene to bring the blaze under control.
Fire Service duty officer Khaleda Yasmin confirmed the matter around 5:30 PM, saying they received information about the fire at around 5:15 PM and immediately dispatched two units.
She said the fire originated on the second floor of the CAAB office, but the cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
