Bangladesh Ambassador to Ethiopia, Air Vice Marshal Sitwat Nayeem, and his spouse recently hosted four cadet pilots of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at Bangladesh House in Addis Ababa.
According to a social media post by the Bangladesh Embassy in Addis Ababa published on June 12, the cadet pilots are currently undergoing simulator training on Dash 8 aircraft at the Ethiopian Airlines Training School in the Ethiopian capital.
The gathering provided an opportunity for the ambassador to interact with the trainees and encourage them as they pursue advanced aviation training abroad.
The embassy said the reception reflected its continued support for Bangladeshi professionals and trainees in Ethiopia while highlighting efforts to strengthen connections with citizens representing Bangladesh overseas.
The four cadet pilots are receiving specialised simulator training as part of their professional development to operate Dash 8 aircraft.
