Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport partners with TOAB for Tourism Fair 2026

An MoU signing ceremony between the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) and Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport at the hotel in Dhaka on Sunday.

Five-star hospitality facility Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport has been named the platinum sponsor of the Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2026, the largest international tourism fair of Bangladesh.

The partnership was finalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) and Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport at a ceremony at the hotel on Sunday.

TOAB Director (Trade and Fair) Md Abul Baset Babu and Director (Media and PR) Md Mizanur Rahman signed the MoU on behalf of the association.

Ashwani Nair, Area General Manager, IHG South West Asia, and Cluster General Manager of Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport and InterContinental Dhaka Airport, signed on behalf of Crowne Plaza, along with Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing Md Nazrul Islam.

The 14th edition of BTTF will be held from October 29 to 31 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.

The three-day international tourism fair is expected to bring together tourism organisations, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, resorts, destination management companies, hospitals and healthcare providers, transport companies and other stakeholders from Bangladesh and abroad.

The partnership between TOAB and Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport is expected to strengthen cooperation between the hospitality and tour operator sectors while creating greater opportunities to promote Bangladesh as an attractive tourism hub to domestic and international visitors.

TOAB expressed that Crowne Plaza’s support as platinum sponsor would contribute to making BTTF 2026 more effective and successful.

The fair is also expected to provide a platform for tourism promotion, business networking, business-to-business (B2B) activities and international tourism cooperation.

Organisers hope the event will help expand business opportunities across the tourism and hospitality industries and strengthen Bangladesh’s position in global tourism market.
