Seven-day buffet festival features royal South Asian dishes

A seven-day buffet festival is going on at Attitude Restaurant from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm daily, featuring biryanis, slow-cooked meat dishes, charcoal-grilled kebabs, seafood and traditional desserts.

The restaurant, where the buffet festival started on September 20, is situated at Holiday Inn hotel at Tejgaon area in Dhaka, says a press release.

The menu includes Lamb Ouzi Al-Malaki, with whole roasted lamb served with fragrant rice, nuts and fried onions; Nizami Gosht Dum Biryani, a slow-cooked mutton biryani; and Darbari Pot-Roasted Quail.

Other main-course dishes include Dum Pukht Beef Nihari, Murgh Musallam-e-Darbar, Awadhi Batakh Qorma and flame-grilled prawns.

The live charcoal grill will feature Adana Kebab-e-Sultan, Joojeh Kebab-e-Shahaneh and Koobideh Kebab-e-Darbar, along with Turkish-style chicken and beef dürüm rolls. Welcome drinks will include Sharbat-e-Mohabbat and Jallab Al-Qasr.

The dessert selection, Sheerin Khazana-e-Sultan, will feature Baklava-e-Saray, Kunafa Al-Malaki, Umm Ali Al-Malaki and Shahi Tukra-e-Khaas. Three varieties of Kheer-e-Sultan, Nawabi Shemai and eight traditional sweets will also be served.
