Journalist Aminul Islam’s Mother Passes Away
She breathed her last at Shaheed Zia Medical College Hospital in Bogura

Hazera Begum, the mother of M Aminul Islam, editor of the Aviation and Tourism Times, passed away on Monday (23 February 2026), due to old-age complications. She breathed her last at Shaheed Zia Medical College Hospital in Bogura.
She was aged 78 years at the time of her death. Her namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayers) was held on Tuesday noon and later buried in the family graveyard at her ancestral home at Shibganj upazila in Bogura.
The deceased is survived by four sons, one daughter, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Hazera Begum was much revered as an accomplished woman who had always stood by the families in need during their times of crisis, said her son Aminul Islam.
The Aviation and Tourism Times family expresses deep sorrow at her passing and conveys heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
