A 180-member integrated Hajj medical team (amended) has been formed, comprising doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and OT or laboratory assistants, to provide healthcare services to Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs on Sunday amended and reconstituted the Hajj medical team, says a press release.

According to the ministry release, the government has also granted approval for the integrated Hajj medical team to visit Saudi Arabia to provide healthcare services to pilgrims.

According to the order, the team members will be entrusted with ensuring round-the-clock medical services for Hajj pilgrims. However, as per Saudi government regulations, they will not be allowed to perform Hajj.
