US-Bangla Airlines has been named Best Domestic Airline at the International Tourism Award 2026, organised by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh

Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Rashiduzzaman Millat and Rafiuzzaman presented the award on Sunday, 17 May 2026, according to a media release. 

Md Kamrul Islam, General Manager, Public Relations, received the award on behalf of US-Bangla Airlines.

US-Bangla Airlines currently operates a fleet of 25 aircraft, including three Airbus A330-300s and nine Boeing 737-800s. The airline serves all domestic destinations across Bangladesh and operates flights to 14 international routes in 10 countries.

Its international destinations include Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia; Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates; Muscat in Oman; Doha in Qatar; Guangzhou in China; Singapore; Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia; Bangkok in Thailand; Malé in the Maldives; and Kolkata and Chennai in India.

To strengthen its operational capacity and expand network connectivity, US-Bangla Airlines is set to add three more narrow-body Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet in the near future.

The airline also plans to launch new international routes from Dhaka to Colombo, Madinah, Dammam and Kuwait.

US-Bangla Airlines said the recognition reflects its continued commitment to operational excellence, service quality, passenger safety and the development of Bangladesh's aviation and tourism sectors.
