Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport organises weeklong Chinese cuisine festival

Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport, a distinguished IHG Hotels & Resorts property, has officially launched 'Imperial Flavours of China', a week-long celebration of Chinese cuisine, culture and heritage.

The festival, scheduled to be held from August 13 to 19, 2026, is being hosted at Mosaic, the hotel's signature restaurant. The event was inaugurated by Sun Xin, Station Manager of Air China, marking the start of this immersive cultural journey.

The 'Imperial Flavours of China' dinner buffet features an extensive selection of authentic delicacies curated by the hotel's culinary team. Highlights of the menu include traditional favourites such as Ma Lai Go, Jian Dui (Sesame Balls), Classic Chinese Egg Tarts, Traditional Mooncakes and Eight-Treasure Rice Pudding (Ba Bao Fan). Guests can also enjoy unique desserts such as Almond Jelly with Lychee, Chinese Banana Fritters and Five-Spice Chocolate Chiffon Cake.

Beyond the culinary offerings, the festival brings the spirit of China to life with vibrant Dragon Dance performances and other traditional cultural showcases throughout the week.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ashwani Nayar, Area General Manager, IHG Southwest Asia and Cluster General Manager, Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport and InterContinental Dhaka, stated, "Imperial Flavours of China is more than a dinner buffet; it is a celebration of Chinese cuisine, culture and heritage.
