Nazmun Nahar has written a proud chapter in Bangladesh’s history by carrying the national flag to 184 countries around the world. She is the first Bangladeshi to achieve this unique milestone. At the same time, she is the first Muslim woman in the world to complete such an extensive global journey with her national flag. In recognition of her remarkable achievement, US-Bangla Airlines has conferred upon her the honorary title “Flag Laureate of National Pride”.

Her historic journey conveys a powerful message of courage, unity, peace and environmental responsibility. By crossing borders across the globe, she has showcased Bangladesh’s culture, values and humanitarian spirit on the world stage.

The honour was formally presented to her at a ceremony held at the US-Bangla Airlines office. Among those present were Kamrul Islam, General Manager (Public Relations), and Mir Tajmul Hossain, Head of Digital Marketing, along with other senior officials of the airline.

US-Bangla Airlines, the country’s largest private carrier, said that recognising individuals inspired by national pride, bravery and global responsibility is part of its commitment.

Nazmun Nahar’s achievement is expected to further strengthen Bangladesh’s image internationally and inspire future generations to represent the country on the global stage.
