Gusty winds, thunderstorms likely in 19 regions by evening
From 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, winds may blow from the west or northwest at speeds of 45–60 km per hour, accompanied by rain or thundershowers.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast gusty winds and thunderstorms in 19 regions of the country by this evening.
According to a weather warning issued for inland river ports from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, winds may blow from the west or northwest at speeds of 45–60 km per hour, accompanied by rain or thundershowers.
The advisory, signed by meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque, said the affected areas include Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Jashore, Kushtia, Faridpur, Madaripur, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Sylhet.
River ports in these regions have been advised to hoist warning signal number one until further notice.
