Afroza stresses better services visiting Dhaka airport on Eid day
The minister visited different key areas of the airport and reviewed its overall operations during the inspection
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam Saturday inspected Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, directing officials to enhance passenger services while expressing satisfaction over overall management, says a press release.
According to the aviation ministry release, the minister visited different key areas of the airport and reviewed its overall operations during the inspection, reports BSS.
She exchanged views with concerned officials and provided necessary directives to further improve passenger’s services.
On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the minister distributed sweets among officers and staff on duty and extended Eid greetings to all.
She also greeted passengers at the airport and wished them safe, smooth and pleasant journeys.
Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq accompanied the minister during the visit.
Among others, CAAB Member (Operations and Planning) Air Commodore Abu Sayeed Mehboob Khan, Member (Administration) S M Lablur Rahman and Member (Security) Air Commodore Md Asif Iqbal, along with other senior officials, were present.
The minister expressed satisfaction with the overall management and service standards of the airport and urged authorities to maintain the momentum in the future.
