Thunderstorms likely in seven districts by evening: BMD
Temporary rain or thundershowers may occur in Rangpur, Pabna, Tangail, Mymensingh, Cumilla, Noakhali and Sylhet

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain and thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds in seven districts by Sunday evening.
In a weather bulletin issued for the next six hours from 9:00am, the Met Office said temporary rain or thundershowers may occur in Rangpur, Pabna, Tangail, Mymensingh, Cumilla, Noakhali and Sylhet.
The forecast also warned of gusty or squally winds blowing from the west or north-west at speeds ranging between 45 and 60 kilometres per hour in the affected areas.
The BMD advised river ports in the districts concerned to hoist Local Cautionary Signal No. 1.
