Malaysia’s e-visa portal has been declared temporarily unavailable from Tuesday due to ongoing maintenance work, making visa verification impossible until further notice, says a press release.
In a notice issued by the Malaysian Embassy in Dhaka on Tuesday, the mission said the official visa portal, malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my, became unavailable with effect from Tuesday, February 10, and will remain offline until further notice. The website is currently undergoing system maintenance and stability enhancements.
The embassy stated that due to the ongoing maintenance, the site will remain temporarily inaccessible from February 10 until further notice.
It also said that visa application submissions and approvals will resume once the system maintenance is completed. An official announcement will be issued accordingly when services are restored.
Applicants requiring urgent assistance have been advised to contact the support team via email at VLN-helpdesk@tridimas.com.my.
The Immigration Department did not provide a timeline for the completion of the maintenance and stabilization works.
