False travel history could cost you Schengen visa, embassies warn
The embassies said all Schengen states have access to the travel histories of visa applicants and urged them to provide truthful information in their applications
The embassies of Schengen states in Dhaka on Monday warned visa applicants against fabricating their travel history, cautioning that any such attempt could jeopardise their chances of obtaining a visa.
In a notice published on their verified Facebook pages, the embassies said all Schengen states have access to the travel histories of visa applicants and urged them to provide truthful information in their applications.
"Any attempt to fabricate your travel history with any Schengen country could jeopardise your chances of obtaining a visa," the notice read.
The advisories are regularly published by the embassies as part of their ongoing efforts to ensure the accuracy and transparency of the visa application process.
