Chattogram Medical Travel Forum announces the 2nd MVT Summit 2026 at a press conference in Chattogram on Sunday.

The Medical Value Travel (MVT) Summit 2026 will be held in Chattogram to promote the development of medical tourism and healthcare services and strengthen international connectivity. The summit, organised by the Chattogram Medical Travel Forum, will take place on November 14 at The Peninsula Hotel in the city.

Details of the summit’s action plan and arrangements were presented at a press conference held on Sunday at The Pavilion Restaurant in the city’s GEC Mor area.

The event was attended by Chattogram Medical Travel Forum President Mohammad Abdul Alim Raju, Vice-President Nurul Anwar Jibon, Vice-President for International Relations Daud Arman and General Secretary Alauddin Manik.
The organisers announced that a large number of patients from the Chattogram region travel to different hospitals at home and abroad every year for advanced medical treatment. One of the key objectives of the summit is to make it easier for patients to access medical services by establishing connections between the local healthcare sector and international hospitals, doctors and specialists.

The summit will also create opportunities to improve the quality of healthcare services, exchange professional expertise and establish bilateral relations at the international level.

Representatives of renowned hospitals from different countries, healthcare entrepreneurs and medical specialists will participate in the summit. Meetings, panel discussions and a special session on future action plans for the healthcare sector will be held to strengthen business-level communication and cooperation.

Chattogram Medical Travel Forum President Mohammad Abdul Alim Raju said representatives of hospitals from China, Malaysia, India and Thailand would attend the summit. Patients will be able to consult them directly and gain an understanding of the available services.

The organisers hope the summit will strengthen links between Chattogram’s healthcare sector and international institutions. They said, would help improve the local healthcare system while making access to global standard medical treatment easier and more transparent for patients.
