US-Bangla recruiting engineers for GSE
GSE covers equipment used for aircraft parking, passenger boarding, baggage handling and other ground activities
US-Bangla Airlines is recruiting engineers for two positions in its Ground Support Equipment (GSE) division, according to a recruitment notice issued by the airline.
The vacancies are for a GSE Maintenance Engineer and a GSE Operations Engineer. The airline said the recruitment is part of its continued focus on safe, reliable and efficient ground operations.
GSE covers equipment used for aircraft parking, passenger boarding, baggage handling and other ground activities. The airline said the availability and reliability of such equipment are integral to smooth flight turnarounds and efficient airport operations.
The maintenance engineer will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, repairs and component replacement. The role will also involve monitoring equipment performance and downtime, identify recurring technical difficulties and conduct root-cause analysis to improve reliability.
The operations engineer will support the safe and efficient use of GSE and coordinate with relevant operational teams. The engineer will also help ensure smooth ground operations in line with established safety and operational standards.
For the maintenance position, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical and electronic, mechatronics, automotive or electromechanical engineering. They must also have two to three years of relevant experience.
The airline mentioned technical expertise, safety awareness, teamwork and sound operational decision-making will be considered important. The notice did not list qualifications for the operations position.
